Parthaa Bosu is an expert in air-quality management with more than 16 years of experience working in the multi-sectoral environment. He has worked with the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers, where he was part of the team that developed the computerized emission check system for vehicles in India (which remains in use) and designed and implemented training with various state pollution control boards. In 2010, he joined the UN Partnership, Clean Air Asia as the India Representative before becoming the India Director and South Asia Liaison, where he led the development of the world’s first walkability survey app. He was part of the working group on non-motorized transport promotion at the Ministry of Urban Development in India. He also structured the country’s first and only Green Freight India Working Group, which works to reduce emissions from and improve the efficiency of freight trucks and includes members from top private sector companies, think tanks, academia, industry associations, the Ministry of Heavy Industries, and NITI Aayog.
